The 23-year-old appeared in 51 games in his first full NHL season last year, posting four goals and nine points. The rugged forward also collected 89 penalty minutes despite missing 27 games because of a neck injury. Analysis: Kaleta was Buffalo's sixth-round pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He has racked up 151 penalty minutes in 98 career NHL games.
