Analysis: Heshka had two goals and two assists in 13 games with San Antonio this season. He was acquired by Phoenix from Vancouver on June 27 for a seventh-round draft pick.

Analysis: The 24-year-old Heshka was acquired from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for the Coyotes' seventh-round draft choice (187th overall) in last month's NHL draft. Heshka had three goals and 23 assists in 77 games last season with Manitoba of the American Hockey League. He originally signed with Vancouver as a free agent in July 2006.
